HUBER+SUHNER has acquired Kathrein SE (Germany) antenna portfolio for safety communication applications. With this acquisition, HUBER+SUHNER expands its antenna portfolio. It thereby strengthens its market position in particular special communications and public mobile radio (PMR) domain in relation to the increasing need for secure mobile communications.

The need for secure mobile communication for blue light organizations (police, authorities, rescue services, etc.) and in the industrial sectors requires the combination of different frequency bands for uninterrupted and stable data transmission.

HUBER+SUHNER acquires these antennas business from Kathrein as a targeted complement to its product range.
